Still nowhere to figuring out how Genya manages to avoid death despite receiving supposedly mortal wounds again and again.
The only hints are his teeth re-growing, and his last name, SHI-NA-ZU-gawa, literally “UNDYING River”. Though does that mean his Hashira brother Sanemi also has the same ability? An ability which is… almost like a Demon’s. Yet both Genya and Sanemi have been seen walking in the sunlight just fine, which is deadly to Demons, so that can’t possibly be it.

Now that I’ve seen it it’s better than I expected. There’s the little details and they dragged out a lot of scenes but at least Hideki Hosokawa did a better job doing the same type of episode than Sotozaki.

I just watched the episode. It just wasn’t… bad. It was a pretty good episode that was obviously not meant to be one of the hype ones. I also don’t really see the complaints about the pacing, it was fine for the most part aside from a few moments obviously dragged out.

People seem to have forgotten how slow the entertainment district was in the first half because of how ridiculously movie-budget the final few episodes were. I imagine the same thing will happen again in the final fights against Gyokko and Hantengu.

This isn’t true whatsoever, the start of S3 has absolutely been better than S2 so far, which was slow as hell. Episode 3 of this season looked better than anything in season 2 except parts of episodes 6, 7, and 10

If the Swordsmith village is so crucial for the Demon Slayer corps, why it does not have at least one permanet patrol of demon slayers guarding it? The two hashiras were there on this arc by pure coincidence. Had muzan sent the attack literally any other moment he would ahve exterminated them.
