Inori adds a difficult variation to her camel spin which is worth a level, and if she spun at least 8 times in her initial position, that’s worth another. Really, both the Camel and Sit Spin are core parts of a skater’s toolset that they’ll be using all the way into the Olympics.

What do you guys think of the voice actors? I usually don’t pay much attention to them so I was quite surprised to find out that Tsukasa’s VA does the voice of Aqua in Oshi no Ko and Jinshi of Apothecary Diaries. He sounds different in the three roles. I can only hear traces of Jinshi if I keep focusing on it, but the delivery is very different. Good actor.

Medalist is too difficult for me to get into because I feel so wistful and jealous watching a little girl not only find her passion but also be supported in her journey. I never had something like that. I also can’t take the Tsukasa path of being a mentor figure to alleviate this pain because there’s just simply nothing I’m good at.

I don’t think when they finally compete that Inori will actually be able to beat Hikaru the first time around, but I think she’ll have come far enough that she’ll get closer than most.

I am looking forward to seeing just how close she’ll get. There’s a big difference between the 58 we’ve seen Inori get and the 97 we saw Hikaru get, and I can only assume Hikaru’s improved since then. Whatever the outcome, it’s a contest I’m excited to see.

Inori and Hikaru kinda have the Hikaru and Akira vibe from HnG in that regard. Which means that if she beat Hikaru its WAY down the line.
Hikaru is a prodigy and has half a decade at least more experience in skating. If they want to stay halfway rooted in reality it will take a lot more than just a year or two to catch her.
