Honestly what makes the show enjoyable is that it feels like a throwback in the best way. It’s the kind of fun goofiness that feels like it died out after the ’90s while also leaning into the older style of isekai as something other than modern escapism. かなりどぎつい青年漫画だからな。小さい頃は大人っぽいものがカッコよくて読みたくなるけど、大人になったら子供が扱えるものと扱えないものを判断できないといけない。年齢レーティングは、ルールというよりガイドだよ。ということでやはりベルセルクは”はじめて読む漫画”としてはハードコアすぎる。あげるならドラゴンボールとかカードキャプターさくらとかうる星やつらにすべき
It’s a seinen series, and a pretty graphic one st that. Like, when you’re a little kid you obviously want to read mature stuff because it’s cool but as an adult you need to be able to judge what a kid can and cannot handle. Age ratings are a guide rather than a rule. That being said, Berserk is way too hardcore for a ‘my first manga’. You’d be better off giving him Dragon Ball, Cardcaptor Sakura, Urusei Yatsura, or the like.
