木乃実の学生生活を垣間見ることが出来たな。木乃実の無邪気さ、若さが強調されて、好奇心旺盛なところが新米組長というキャラに補足されたのが良かったと思う。
ともかく、最年少の組長に試練が来たようだ。他の信者たちを差し置いて、下村本人が現実世界に来てさっそく戦うらしい。木乃実の素手の戦闘スタイルは武器を持った下村に苦戦しそうでちょっと心配
End of chapter.
We get to see a glimpse of Konomi’s school life.
I liked how her innocence and being young is highlighted in the chapter with her curiosity which I think serves as supplement to her being a new chief as well.
Anyway, looks like the youngest Chief will have to be tested soon as it looks like Shimomura herself, without the rest of the devotees, comes to the real world to engage her.
I’m kinda worried, her bare fists kind of fighting style seems to be at a natural disadvantage against Shimomura having a weapon.

Feels kind of short, good setup though. Hope they don’t repeat Vol 9 with the “death” of a leader.

In the very first chapter I believe it was already established that Gates just appear out of nowhere and Earth has no way of telling how/where/when it will happen. It’s even more unpredictable than an earthquake.
So it kinda makes sense that a Thunder God can simply waltz in, especially since Shikoku also showed that she herself can bypass the Corps’ barrier itself.
