It’s my favourite manga – I’ve “read” through it numerous times, and have even patterned a personal art-style after, in part, prime Blame/Biomega Nihei. Blame is a formative experience.

Some of the paneling is a bit jarring, but I only had that issue in some fights, it’s one of those things where you piece it together as you read.

i liked it too but that last volume was trash.
obviously it was because it was getting canned and had to be wrapped up, but it was clear he needed 2-3 volumes for all of that stuff.

それは違う。ストーリーとは雰囲気だとかセッティングの一部であって、ただキャラクターによるものではないんだ。少年漫画厨とか全てに説明を求める人間にとっては理解できないだろうけど
I wouldn’t say that, the story is part of the atmosphere and setting, not just character driven. I guess that will turn off a lot of shonenfags or people who expect to have everything spoonfed to them in exposition.
