I dig that they emphasize the bullet dodging at the end with the elastic band. It’s not just something that is expected of a Lycoris, Takina noticed it and decided to put it to the test there. Will be interested to see if that’s an interesting plot point going forward.

Her entire face during that shoot out was said ”that is bullshit, complete bullshit”. So they definitely emphasized her ability to dodge bullets and made a big deal out of it.

It probably had the “Hollywood class gigantic explosion” that Misaki prepared onboard. It’d be hilarious if someone swiped it for a ride and it blows up in a future episode.

Omg that little butt kick in the OP! And Chisato feeding Takina on the train! And Takina firing a hair tie at Chisato! They are f**king nailing the chemistry between these two.
God the action is so exciting too! I love seeing Chisato move gracefully through a bullet storm life a master bullet hell player.
Now that we’ve got our cute girl hacker Kurumi on the team, I can’t wait to get into the main plot.

The fact that the Lycoris can’t get passports solely on the basis of being orphans and therefore lacking an entry on a family register is wild. They’ve been effectively rendered stateless in order to control their child soldiers. The main office already gave off pretty sinister vibes, but it feels like we may be building up to them being the main antagonist and/or the one behind it all.

アクションシーンが多く、ミステリータッチのアニメでありながら、この作品の持つ日常モノ感が面白いと思う。スパイ×ファミリーのような雰囲気だけど、スパイ×ファミリーが家族という切り口であるのに対し、このアニメはCGDCT(可愛い少女たちが可愛いことをするジャンル)という切り口で描かれている。
この雰囲気は、きっとこれから起こることを隠すカモフラージュなんだろうね。まどか☆マギカで見たことある雰囲気だもん、あの作品はこのアニメほど日常モノっぽくはなかったけど。
そしてついにくるみ登場！この最強のハッカーが、千束・たきなコンビとどう補完しあうのか、楽しみだ
I find that slice of life feeling of this series interesting, even the anime is filled with much action scenes and a touch of mystery. The vibe is like Spy×Family, but while that series is slice of life family making, this anime focused on slice of life CGDCT.
I’m sure this vibe is just a facade of what’s going to come. I’ve seen this vibe before in Madoka Magica, albeit that series is not as-SOL-as this one.
And Kurumi is finally here! Let’s see how the best hacker complements with the Chisato-Takina duo.

I hope you’re right. If she really has powers then I guess its fine. It was hard to suspend my disbelief with the way she was dodging the bullets, despite it being a cool scene.Maybe she can peek into the future for a few seconds and that allows her to dodge things?. It can also explain how she found out about the drone in EP1.
