I’ve only played 1,4,5,8,9 and 11.
My favourite is 8 but I really want to play 3.
Rocket Slime series is underappreciated too.

>2 is a mixed bag. Improves some things, ruins others, and already they made a world map too big for it’s own good. It’s still an experience I’ll remember though.

俺がプレイしたことあるのはDQ3のファミコン版だけ。だから俺はこれだ、素晴らしいゲームだった。最後のサプライズのために、DQ1を先にプレイすりゃよかったとは思う
I’ve only played DQ III, original NES version.
So I’ll go with that, fantastic game.
Wish I had played DQ 1 first for the surprise at the end.

Dragon Warrior 1 (NES), Dragon Warrior 4 (NES), and Dragon Quest 5. I don’t understand all the praise that gets heaped onto Dragon Quest 3; it was enjoyable, but it’s not significantly better than what came before or after.

8 has Witches
11 has Succubats
They even both have Puff Puff as an attack.

9 has one succubus type boss that’s also palette swapped for a few late game enemies (a bit like the witch from 8) and one boss that’s literally a monster with tit**es.

I want to say 11, but it’s not very fair given how I never got around to playing the vast majority of the series. I’m working my way through 4-8 before I decide for sure.

About to start DQ5, so which bride is best for a first run? Bianca seems to be the best all-rounder compared to Nera and Debora, but I’m curious as to other thoughts.

どちらもBlazemost(メラゾーマ)とOomph(バイキルト)を持っていて、それが一番重要なんだけど、フローラにはビアンカにはないExplodet(イオナズン)があり、回復力も少し上。
DS版はクソだから3人目は知らん
Both have Blazemost and Oomph, which is what matters the most, but Flora has Explodet on top of that which Bianca doesn’t have and she has a little bit more resilience.
Don’t know about the third one because fuck the DS versions

Which ones are actualy worth playing and accessible to someone who’s never played one? I was interested in trying 7 until i heard its one of the longest games to play

Definitely DON’T start with 7. That’s for after you’ve played a few. DQ3, 5, and 8 are generally considered to be ideal starting points.

5と6ほんと好き。5は完成された物語って感じ。6は探索が楽しかった。どちらも最高のパーティチャットがあった
I really like 5 and 6. 5 feels like a complete narrative while 6 had fun exploration. Both had S tier party chats

何度も4をやっちゃうから4かな。Dragon Warriorsを全部やって大きくなったけど4が俺の一番だ。1,2,3,5,6,8,9,11も面白かったぞ
I keep going back to 4, so I guess that’s it. I grew up playing all the Dragon Warriors but 4 was always my fav.
Special shout out to 1,2,3,5,6,8,9,11 which I have beaten and enjoyed all of them.
