Pretty satisfying end there with the Katana devil lol. letting them take out some anger on the guy without killing him.
so far this anime definitely met my expectations, so i’m hoping for a season 2 and beyond as it seems like it’ll only get better from here on

I may be the only person who interpreted it this way, but could ‘easy revenge’ refer to ‘living well’? I know that’s what Himeno would have wanted for Aki. And there’s that saying, “the best revenge is to live well” and that’s what the cigarette was referring to.
