I still don’t understand how he can kill lv. 65 wolves with being 30 levels behind but I never actually played fantasy mmos except for one or two times and that was only for a few days.

One thing I wish this anime did which was cool what Solo Leveling did is actually show his stats as he levels up. Also, at a quick glance, it seems like HP isn’t as focused on in this game, which is interesting in itself.

As a gamer, I really appreciate how much attention they’re still paying to the game mechanics and it looks to me like it will not change any time soon. The weird emergent AI thing with the NPCs doesn’t make sense and IIRC has never been explained. It’s refreshing in a way to have a non-isekai game setting but it’s at the cost of the NPC behavior being nonsensical. Forget the immersive VR, the real scientific breakthrough is the artificial intelligence of these vidya characters.
